Turbo-generator means a generator driven by a steam turbine. The superheated steam generated by the boiler enters the steam turbine to expand and do work, so that the blades rotate and drive the generator to generate electricity. The waste steam after work is sent back to the boiler for recycling through the condenser, circulating water pump, condensate water pump, feed water heating device, etc.

Its working principle mainly includes the following steps:

1. Intake and compression: Air enters the turbine through the intake port and increases temperature and pressure during the compression process.

2. Combustion and fuel supply: Under high pressure and high temperature, fuel is injected into the intake air to form a mixed gas.

3. Expansion and drive: The mixed gas enters the shaft nozzle (vane) under high temperature and high pressure, and through the spray effect of the nozzle, the turbine blades are thrust, thereby driving the shaft to rotate.

4. Rotate and convert kinetic energy into mechanical energy: the shaft that drives the generator to output current rotates, converts the high-speed rotating mechanical energy into electrical energy, and generates electromagnetic induction electromotive force through the guide coil on the generator rotor.

5. Spark elimination: The frequency, voltage and current of the generated electric energy need to be stably controlled and adjusted by the controller, and the possible spark discharge is eliminated.

6. Cooling and emission: Part of the energy of the steam turbine and generator will be lost in the form of heat, which needs to be dissipated through the cooling system. At the same time, the exhaust gas also needs to be discharged through the exhaust system.

Turbine generators are widely used in power plants, factories and ships. Its main purpose is to convert heat energy into electricity and provide electricity for people's industrial production and daily life.
